Passive Fire Protection: Fire Stopping and Fire Doors

We help duty holders achieve and evidence compliance in occupied buildings. G2 is BM TRADA Q-Mark registered for fire doors and passive fire works. We provide surveys, installation and remedials with photographic evidence, tagging and registers at handover, with all fire stopping works and fire doors recorded in Bolster.

Fire stopping

We maintain compartmentation by sealing service penetrations and joints in walls, floors and risers using tested products such as batts, collars, wraps and sealants. All works are logged with photographs and precise locations for audit. We also carry out fire stopping surveys and provide reports that clients can either use to have works completed independently or ask us to deliver the remedial works.

Fire doors

We survey, install and remediate FD30 and FD60 door sets. Items addressed include gaps, seals, closers, signage, vision panels and ironmongery. Assets can be tagged and added to a register so inspections and remedials are planned and trackable. We work with Q-Mark accredited fire door manufacturers, enabling us to provide new, fully Q-Mark registered fire doors.
